Mass Noun Foods
Here is another set of foods. Can you guess what is special about them?
You can call them 'mass nouns.' They are nouns that aren't often made plural. Think about 'water'. In English, we don't usually say 'waters', even if we have a lot of water.
In Mi'gmaq, it's the same: samqwan is usually singular, even if you're talking about a lot of water.
