Food Plurals
What if we have more than one of each kind of food? Can you guess the right names?
Some words will become plural when you add a -l on the end, like switis (candy) becoming switisl (candies).
Some words will become plural when you add a -g on the end, like tap'tan (potato) becoming tap'tang (potatoes).
(Yes, switis probably comes from the English word "sweets" or "sweeties". You'll notice a few words in this section that sound fairly similar to English or French. Why do you think that might be the case?)
